Best place to live sophomore year. The community is sick & only half of the RAs are mean..one doesn't even live in this building. Amazing.

The real charm of Alumni Hall is that it is the oldest building at Villanova and, therefore, the oldest dorm and a campus landmark. A charming white building with an entrance flanked by columns and topped by a bronze bell tower, the building is located right at the center of campus with great views and short walks to just about every place that you would need to go to on main campus. Home to Service Learning Community, getting to live in Alumni is quite a competitive process and living there is almost a symbol of prestige. Also, due to this, the residents and RAs are always great people who are super friendly and love to have a good time. Though the dorm has no AC, the rooms are a bit small, and the building is old, Villanovans who have lived in Alumni often say living there was one of the greatest parts of college.

There was only one sink in the bathroom and it was right by the door, so every time you opened the door, if someone was there washing their hands, you would hit them. The room sizes were great and the location on campus was excellent.

The rooms are more spacious than average and the facilities are pretty good considering the age of the building (built in 1846). Alumni houses the sophomore Service Learning Community so the atmosphere in the building is one of a very close, tight-knit community. Overall I would give the building four stars.

Alumni is the greatest dorm, not only on Villanova's campus, but in the US. Stoop life!
