Merriweather is a great dorm if you like a very quiet environment. In 2010-2011it was all girls, and practically silent. However, it is located on the satellite campus, so plan to spend an hour a day in rush hour traffic on the bus.

I liked it, but it was too far away from everything.

Merriweather was way too much of a party dorm for me. Thursday nights everyone would get drunk and stay up until five in the morning. Most of the people were disrespectful and I could only stand to be there to sleep. Otherwise this is a nice dorm. I enjoyed the location because it was right next to the shuttle stop and away from the quad. The only downside was taking a shuttle to downtown for classes.

The space was good, but there's only one kitchen for the entire building. Minus one point also for being on the Vern. I'd choose this dorm over Hensley, maybe Clark and Cole, but not over Somers and definitely not over Pelham (which is amazing, and I speak from experience).
